Walking around Inspiration
A slow walk, with intent, can inspire most of us to take in the secrets and beauty of our surroundings. Mindful walking can quieten the busy-ness of our minds but also turn chaos more bearable I feel. I love photography. Although I do not arm myself with an SLR or any fancy apparatus, my silent phone does the trick. And I came across this beauty, which I have looked and quickly admired many times, in a rush to get someplace, but seen only yesterday, as I slowed down with no particular place to go, but only to soak in the cold air and warm rays. It inspired me to write just a few words and share it with you all.
See her, truly do. What is the hidden subtle wisdom you feel, just looking at her, with depth and intent?
I see Mother, Angel Mother or Goddess Mother, with calm determination, on one side and heart-felt love on the other. Just seeing her was electrifying, purifying, giving this urge to shun beliefs that no longer serve. To let go, to open up and embrace. I was glued to her purity and beauty. She may be just a statue for many, a symbol for a few, yet a work of Art for All. Yes, she is in a place of rest, in a peaceful spot yet deeply facing us, passers-by. Looking over us or at us? Guarding and guiding.
Enjoy the photo and look forward to reading your wisdom.
Love and Light.
